Key West, a U.S. island city, is part of the Florida Keys archipelago. It’s also Florida’s southernmost point, lying roughly 90 miles north of Cuba. Famed for its pastel-hued, conch-style houses, it’s a cruise-ship stop also accessible from the mainland via the Overseas Highway. It’s known more for its coral reefs – destinations for diving and snorkeling – than for its beaches.

Located around 2 miles from the Key West International Airport, The Hilton Garden Inn at Key West sits at the entrance to the island. Among the room types are rooms with a king bed with a balcony view, rooms with two queen beds and rooms with a king bed with an extra sofa sleeper. Suites offer a separate sleeping area to give you and your family room to spread out. Rooms come with a television, coffeemaker and refrigerators of various sizes. The property is within walking distance of several beaches and kayak and paddle rental shops, as well as the Florida Keys Overseas Heritage Trail. Mallory Square and Duval Street are a quick bike ride away, and there are a wide range of restaurants and shops to explore in the area. Water sports and outdoor activities are also pretty much endless here. A bit farther afield, you can take a family trip to the Key West Aquarium or the Dry Tortugas National Park.
