The two join Marriott International and Accor, which recently announced cleanliness efforts to combat COVID-19. The AHLA launched Safe Stay, an initiative focused on enhanced hotel cleaning practices, social interactions and workplace protocols to meet the new health and safety challenges and expectations presented by COVID-19. New Marriott Rewards Program Rolling Out Travel Rewards by Corey Grant - Travel Agent - April 18, 2018April 18, 20180 Marriott International will be introducing their brand new loyalty program that combines the programs from itssister properties including —Marriott Rewards, The Ritz-Carlton Rewards and Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG). Beginning in August, any points earned through these three loyalty programs will be combined into a single account. Members will be able to book stays, as well as earn and redeem points, across Marriott’s entire portfolio without having to convert points between accounts. Elite tiers will also become easier to attain for members of all three programs. Gold elite status will be awarded after 25 nights, down from 50; while Platinum elite status will be earned after 50 nights, instead of 75.
