The UK government has announced that starting August 2, fully vaccinated customers traveling from the U.S. and most of Europe will no longer need to quarantine upon arrival in the UK.

While quarantine will no longer be required, fully vaccinated U.S. travelers will still need to:

• Take a COVID-19 test within 72 hours of departure
• Take a PCR test on or before day two after arrival in the UK (the day of arrival is day zero)
• Provide proof of U.S. residency if vaccinated in the U.S.

To streamline travel, customers can download the health app VeriFLY™, which guides customers through the completion of necessary travel requirements including uploads of required travel documents directly to the app. VeriFLY validates that the documents match a country’s requirements and displays a simple pass or fail message to streamline the check-in and document verification process at the airport before departure.

The U.S. remains on the UK government’s amber list, meaning travelers who are not fully vaccinated will need to quarantine for 10 days after arrival. In order to re-enter the U.S., travelers will need to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 3 days of departure or documentation of recovery per U.S. government guidelines.
