When will Disney Cruises set sail again is the question everyone wants the answer to? As of the writing of this blogpost Disney Cruise Lines has declared July 1, 2021 as the tentative date that select US based cruise ships will set sail again. (stay tuned for any updates)
Condé Nast Traveler 2019 Readers Choice Awards declared Disney Cruise Line the number one large ship cruise line in the world. So what makes a Disney cruise so special? Well first of all it’s Disney and anything Disney is going to be top notch.

The Disney Dream was christened on January 19, 2011, by the actress and singer Jennifer Hudson, in Port Canaveral, Florida. It is part of the Dream-class, and has only one sister ship, the Disney Fantasy.
The Disney Dream ship is packed full of activities that the whole family will enjoy and although a bit more pricey than other cruise lines, I think you will find that it is worth every penny.
Staterooms on a Disney Dream Cruise are more spacious than most other cruise line cabins. There are four designations for rooms: Concierge, Verandah, Oceanview & Inside. Each room has different configurations and features a mini-fridge and a safe. Kids sailing on the Disney Dream will enjoy sleeping on the bunk beds that fold into a couch during the day to give you extra seating area when you want to relax in your room. Staterooms on the Disney Dream have one feature that we just love, a split bathroom. One bathroom has tub & sink, while other has toilet & sink. Makes getting ready a breeze for families.

Disney Cruise Line offers the same impeccable service that has helped Disney parks set the standard. It’s obvious that the staff and crew care greatly about making sure that each guest has an exceptional, magical experience. Although guests rotate to a different restaurant each night, the waitstaff rotates with them to provide a consistent, stellar experience. So whether you’re eating at the elegant Royal Palace or enjoying chatting with an animated Crush at Animator’s Palate, your servers will be with you.
Disney cruises offer many opportunities for children and adults to interact with characters. Each day’s schedule lists times and locations to meet princesses and cartoon favorites as well as Mickey Mouse himself. Dance parties are a blast, as children and parents share the floor with Donald, Goofy, and more.

Holiday cruises offer another level of fun. Enjoy Halloween or Christmas decorations, entertainment, and special activities to make the days even more festive. Seeing the Disney characters in their holiday best is a real treat!
